Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage — do the same job, and where this policy says “cookies” it means all of them.

We set no non-essential cookie until you say yes. The banner offers a genuine reject, rejecting is one click and works exactly like accepting, and nothing about the site degrades if you decline everything except the sign-in session you obviously need.

There are no advertising cookies on MyVesta, no social media pixels, and no cross-site trackers. We do not sell personal information and we have no advertising business to feed.

We run an affiliate program. Partners share a link in the form myvesta.com/?ref=CODE. If you arrive through one of those links and you have accepted the affiliate category, we store the code in a first-party cookie named mv_ref for 60 days, and record that the click happened.

• Duration: 60 days from your first visit through the link. It is not extended by later visits unless a new referral link is used.
• Contents: the partner's referral code and the time of the click. Nothing about you.
• Purpose: if you subscribe within the window, the partner earns commission. That is the only thing it does.
• What the partner sees: counts only — clicks, sign-ups, paid conversions and commission owed. Never your name, email address or anything in your vault.
• If you decline this category, the cookie is not set, the click is not recorded, and you pay exactly the same price.

• Use the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of any page. It reopens the same panel with your current choices, and changes apply immediately.
• Rejecting a category you previously accepted also clears the cookies in it, so a withdrawn consent actually removes something rather than just stopping future writes.
• Your choice is remembered for 12 months in the mv_consent cookie, then we ask again.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a per-site control. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you being able to sign in.
• Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals: where your browser sends one, we treat it as a rejection of all non-essential categories and do not ask again on that browser.

When we add a cookie we update this table before it starts being set, and the “last updated” date changes. If a new cookie falls into a non-essential category, your existing consent does not carry over to it — we ask again.
