Household members and access

What owners can do that members cannot

One owner holds full control; members get read access to named categories.

MyVesta deliberately keeps roles simple, because complicated permission systems are how people end up seeing things they should not.

The owner

  • Creates, edits and deletes every record.
  • Invites and removes members and sets their access.
  • Manages billing, exports the vault, and deletes the household.

Members

  • Read the categories they have been granted, and nothing else.
  • Cannot invite others, change access, or see billing.
  • Cannot see that categories they lack access to even exist.

Every view, creation, change and deletion is recorded in the activity log against the person who did it.
